Photo Walk with us in Deadwood

Deadwood, South Dakota will be the site of one Scott Kelby's Second Annual Worldwide Photo Walks on Saturday, July 18 and I will be hosting it. This is a free social gathering of photographers who want to explore the historic architecture and interesting character of Deadwood and compare images.

The walk will last approximately two hours. To sign up for the Deadwood Photo Walk, click here. Like I said, this is mainly a social get-together with no set rules or planned progam. However, I will be choosing the one photo I feel is the best of all uploaded from Deadwood that day to the Photo Walk website. The winner will receive a cool prize and be eligible for the worldwide grand prize, which is promised to be really great.

Most questions about Photo Walks can be answered here.

I'm going to be on the road shooting this week, but hope to get some pictures of Deadwood posted here soon for inspiration.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Scott Kelby, he is a guru of the photo editing software Photoshop and the main guy at the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. You can read about his Worldwide Photo Walks here. As I write this, over 420 Photo Walks are scheduled on July 18 across the globe.

Don't forget to sign up by clicking Deadwood Photo Walk.
