1880 Town never disappoints

I had another chance to shoot one of my favorite places in South Dakota yesterday - the 1880 Town between Murdo and Belvidere on Interstate 90.

I just love the Old West atmosphere of this collection of buildings.

I like stepping back aways from the buildings and shooting with a telephoto. Makes you look at things in a different way than typically just walking right up to them.

When you do get inside, wide angle lenses come in very handy.

One of the McNasty Brothers wanted to know what I was doing in his saloon. I can't remember if this is "Filthy" or "Rotten."

You can read more about the 1880 Town in my earlier post here.
