Racing season to start soon

The sky is blue, the temperature is reaching over 60 degrees on a fairly consistent basis and the grass is just starting to green up - must be about time for racing season! Oahe Speedway north of Pierre begins it's drag racing season on April 18, so it's time for getting excited about the cool photos to be taken soon.

There's nothing like auto racing for practicing a variety of photography skills, from panning with speeding cars, tilting the camera at odd angles to add drama and tension, and slow shutter speeds for fun effects.
