Jumping buffalo sequence

Got to squeeze off a 13-shot sequence with the motor drive on continuous high which is fairly unusual for me, so thought I'd share.

Heavy rains this spring on top of a snowy winter have swollen the streams and lakes in the Black Hills. Wildlife are making the best of it, but for many it means navigating around, through or over creeks that aren't usually there.

Today I found a herd of buffalo near the south end of Custer State Park moving through an area that's not usually wet. The calves were having a good time jumping the stream, but I don't think the adults felt quite the same way.
