Memorial Day flag tribute

For a first test of the Nikon D300s video function, this Memorial Day "Flags of Freedom" display in Mitchell, South Dakota just jumped out at me.

I've still got a long ways to go to be real good at shooting video, but I was happy with the results. Nikon has made the video feature of this DSLR camera very easy to use, so experimenting with moving pictures isn't as difficult for us still shooters as it used to be.

Hope everyone is having a good Memorial Day weekend and remembering the sacrifices behind these flags.

You don't have a 'long ways' to go by any stretch, Chad! Very nice work.

I hope you continue to post on your experience using the video side of the dSLR and what you think are the benefits & shortfalls of the concept.
