Published in National Geographic

For many photographers, National Geographic Magazine is the ultimate dream for being published. The standard for the highest quality photographs that the magazine and it's spin offs have set over the years is legendary.

I haven't made it there yet, but have had small photos published in National Geographic Traveler before. Today I made it another step closer with a large photo on the National Geographic Adventure website.

Thanks very much to Jared Trask at the Rapid City Convention and Visitors Bureau for his work on getting this photo published and to rock climber extraordinaire Daryl Stisser at Sylvan Rocks Climbing School for helping me make this image a few years back.

That's the Cathedral Spires in the Needles area of Custer State Park in the background.
