Spearfish Canyon in HDR

I am still stumbling around in the dark while trying to learn High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography where three or more exposures are combined to create one image, but I can say this is the best I've come up with so far.

This was shot on the footbridge at the base of Roughlock Falls in Spearfish Canyon last week. I'm feeling like it should have more contrast and richer blacks, but it's better than my earlier attempts. I'll keep trying and maybe something in my head will click so things make sense.
