More fun with star trails

I suppose it's possible to get a deer to stand completely still for 15 minutes, but I doubt it.

I shot this silhouette on Custer State Park's Wildlife Loop Road last week in the pre-dawn darkness out the car window at 1/6 of a second.

That evening I took this 15 minute exposure of the clear night sky.

Removing the original sky, dropping in the star trails, adding a little blur to the foliage to hide any imperfections in the cutting out process and we have this.

Realistic? Not so much. Fun? You bet!
