The workbook they hand you when you check in must weigh several pounds and includes notes on every seminar and workshop here, even the ones you aren't attending. It's almost worth the price of admission by itself.
Tomorrow the real learning begins, but after being inspired by checking in and attending the first-timer's orientation I took a walk on Orlando's International Drive to shoot some funky architecture.
First, just to prove I was actually here I shot the convention sign.
Upon closer inspection of the sign, I realized I had found a South Dakota connection! Made in Brookings!
From there it was continuing practice on HDR images, some realistic and some not-so, a lot like many of the buildings here.

Thanks Jana. A cool sky like that helps almost any image. Doubt I'll shoot much today, it's all about workshops and trade show expo. We'll see how much information my brain can soak up.
