Black Hills Photo Shootout coming right up

If you've been looking for a photography workshop to attend, but are hesitant to spend the amount of money some demand, the Black Hills Photo Shootout might just be for you.

About the most affordable 2+ days of photography fun and instruction you can find, the Shootout kicks off with a presentation by David Stoecklein, the Photographer of the American West. If you aren't familiar with David's work, do yourself a favor and click on the link. I think you'll be impressed.

This year's Shootout is scheduled right during the peak of fall color season in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming on Sept. 30-Oct. 1. Workshop sessions will visit incredible Spearfish Canyon, awe-inspiring Devils Tower, and several lesser-known, but just as beautiful scenic spots.

From how to shoot patterns and textures, to capturing lacy waterfalls, and creating a digital workflow that makes editing your images a breeze, there's something for every experience level.

Many sponsors have come together to make the Black Hills Photo Shootout a reality for the second year. While you are marveling at the great scenery and the new knowledge gained, take time to thank the organizations that create this fun event.

For more information and to register, check out the Black Hills Photo Shootout website. Hope to see you there!
