We visited a couple Twin Cities iconic sculptures - "Spoonbridge and Cherry" at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and the Mary Tyler Moore statue in downtown Minneapolis. Both were shot specifically for HDR with auto bracketing and processed through Photomatix and Photoshop.
The camera's manual controls allowed me to use f22 to produce a starburst from the sun rising through a Christmas cactus in my sister-in-law's sunroom.
