Wildlife of a fowl kind

A sunrise visit to the Downstream Recreation Area just below Oahe Dam north of Pierre this morning yielded 19 bald and golden eagle sightings, along with untold numbers of ducks and geese, various hawks and one red-bellied woodpecker.

I have the best luck photographing from the car, but these eagles did sit long enough for me to get out and find an angle where they weren't obscured by tree branches.
