Deer doing well in Dakota Dunes

I can say with a fair amount of confidence that the whitetail deer population in the Dakota Dunes area is doing well. All of these photos were taken tonight within an hour of each other in approximately one square mile and each photo shows different animals.

This extreme southeastern corner of South Dakota was heavily affected by the Missouri River flooding last summer, but obviously the deer have survived just fine.

I would say my tip for sneaking up on deer is to drive a golf cart, but that probably doesn't work for deer that don't live on a golf course.
