Abstraction at the waterfalls

Today was the first day of workshop sessions for the Black Hills Photo Shootout. I lead two groups to Spearfish Falls and the morning group to Roughlock Falls as well. By the afternoon session there were at least three weddings going on around the falls, plus a large amount of "leaf peepers" that made things not so intimate.

I'm hoping everyone in both sessions felt they were able to produce some nice images and learned a few things.

My own photography today leaned toward the abstract art side of things, which isn't exactly normal for me. Kind of fun to branch out once in awhile though.
