I spotted this dinosaur statue and a classic car behind it while wandering around the Boondocks roadside attraction near Deadwood. I liked the similarity of the dino's teeth and the spikes on the car's hubcap.
However, when I first shot it I wasn't happy with the results. My aperture of f3.0 did not give me sharp definition in the teeth and the car.
Focusing on the car instead of the dinosaur didn't help.
Switching to f22 gave just enough depth of field to see both things, but not have them blend completely together into an unrecognizable mess. The end result is maybe not an award-winning photo, but it shows what made me stop and take a picture in the first place.
