Christmas at the Depot coming up in Redfield

If you like trains, Christmas, or trains at Christmas, Redfield, South Dakota has a weekend scheduled for you. Christmas at the Depot will be December 7,8 and 9.

The Historic Depot in downtown Redfield will be open all three days with displays of toy trains by local collector Marlin Fenner. A lighted parade will begin on Main Street at 5:30 Friday night and free rides on the Lebahn Family Christmas Train will be available Friday and Saturday. Visits with Santa, live Nativity, music and a free movie will also be included throughout the weekend.

The depot by itself is a treat for train lovers, with many related antiques displayed in the building along with festive holiday decor. I had fun this last weekend shooting details.

More information is available at the Redfield Chamber of Commerce website.
