Paul Horsted "re-photography" presentations coming up

I've followed Custer photographer Paul Horsted throughout my career - eagerly soaking up his mentoring at journalism camp and an internship, then landing the South Dakota Tourism photography job a few years after he left it.

His recent career has involved "re-photography" where he painstakingly researches the exact location of historic photographs and shows us what the same place looks like now. Through March and April he has several presentations scheduled around South Dakota to show the results of his work from "The Black Hills To Yellowstone: Yesterday & Today."

Here is Paul's presentation schedule:

March 21, 2013 in Pierre: 5:15 p.m. at Cultural Heritage Center, free.

March 23, 2013 in Sioux Falls: 2 p.m. at Outdoor Campus East, 4500 Oxbow Ave. CALL TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT (605) 362-2777, free.

March 24, 2013 in Yankton: 2 p.m. at Mount Marty College, Marian Auditorium.

April 6, 2013 in Belle Fourche: 10 a.m. at Tri-State Museum, 415 5th Ave. Optional brunch/breakfast served ($) with free program after.
