South Dakota named Top 10 place for wildlife viewing

Earlier this week Fox News named South Dakota and specifically Custer State Park as one of the Top 10 Wildlife Destinations in the world. I couldn't agree more. I took these photos this week in Wind Cave National Park and near Jewel Cave National Monument. For the full story, see Fox News' website. It is great to see the South Dakota experience listed alongside places like Alaska, Yellowstone National Park and Antarctica.

Speaking of wildlife, don't forget that on Thursday, March 7 wildlife photographer Harlan Humphrey will be giving a presentation of his work at the Mickelson Safety Center in Pierre.
