A direct link to the Mormon Row walk with map and directions can be found by clicking here. We will be meeting at 7 am and spending about two hours photographing the barns, the mountains, hopefully some fall leaves, maybe some snow and any wildlife that wanders by.
If you are unfamiliar with the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk, it is the largest single day photography event in the world. So far this year over 5,000 photographers will be taking part in over 525 walks around the globe and I expect those numbers to grow significantly. Last year there were almost 30,000 participants.
The day itself is a non-competitive, just-for-fun event, but there is a photo contest to enter afterwards with great prizes.
If you are looking for a walk within South Dakota, so far there is one at the Windcross Conservancy Mustang Horse Preserve near Buffalo Gap. You can also sign up to lead a walk in your favorite area.
