Sturgis as much about music as it is motorcycles

The infamous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is in full swing this week and it has become as much a music festival as anything else. In just one afternoon of wandering through the Full Throttle Saloon and the Legendary Buffalo Chip campground I came across these musical acts -

Jesse James Dupree and Jackyl doing an impromptu practice/jam session for whoever happened to be paying attention.

Minneapolis-based 4 On The Floor rocking at the Crossroads at the Chip.

Jared James Nichols on the Sam Kinison Stage at the Chip.

And 80s rockers Tesla on the main Wolfman Jack Stage at the Chip.

Also appearing throughout the week have been/will be Big & Rich, Vince Neil, Brett Michaels, Lita Ford, Warrant, Rob Zombie, Quiet Riot, the Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Toby Keith, Hairball and many, many more.

EDIT: The Full Throttle Saloon burned to the ground on September 8, 2015.
