Ghost towns of South Dakota and abandoned buildings and vehicles are featured on the 2014 Dakotagraph calendars. They are available along with other merchandise at the Dakotagraph Cafepress Shop.
Some of the towns pictured on the calendar are not completely uninhabited, but I hope the few residents of Manchester, Lily, Crandall, Nowlin and Belvidere would agree that the images here fit in a "ghost towns" theme.
When ordering the calendars, be sure to select which month you want them to start with. Default setting is to start with the month you are ordering in. http://www.cafepress.com/dakotagraph.1019471929#
Speaking of ghost towns and roadside remnants, Sioux Falls photographer Abby Bischoff is having unbelievable success with a Facebook page she started in early October called "Abandoned: South Dakota." In a very short time she has gathered over 21,000 "likes" at the page featuring her images of abandoned farmsteads and homes in eastern South Dakota.
KELO-TV noticed the page's popularity explosion and did a story this week, which is no doubt contributing to more "likes." http://www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/photographer-admires-the-abandoned/?id=155232
