It is always fun to see your neighborhood get some big time exposure. Michael Forsberg lets the world know about South Dakota's wildlife picture-taking opportunities in the latest issue of "Outdoor Photographer" magazine.
This April 2016 issue has several articles about wildlife photography, highlighted by Michael's story entitled "Wildlife of the Great Plains." A beautiful shot of a lone bull bison in Wind Cave National Park opens the story, followed by a burrowing owl in Badlands National Park. Those of us who shoot regularly in South Dakota know wildlife and spectacular scenery are abundant, while hordes of photographers are not. I certainly don't mind if a few more find our part of the world.
